First post of 2018!
Welcome to the new year. I have good news. This blog has gotten major views from a pretty good source, that links to many autistic bloggers. It’s nice that I’ve gotten numerous views over the last few days. Thank you to that source for the views. It’s nice to drive up traffic in any way possible.
At the same time, I now think that the responsibility is greater to provide good writing. I will do my best, and I hope I don’t let any of you down.
I hope that I continue the global views from these last few years. I’d like to challenge these readers – I’d like to try to get to 1,000 views from as many countries as possible. Including the United States, I had ten countries last year. Do you think it can happen again? That’ll be my challenge to myself, and everybody else. For those that are watching the World Cup, like me, the first six teams are already up, and I’ll be working on more this year (see the tags of “World Cup profiles” to find them). Is your team among them?
Of course, I’ll also be writing about baseball, and geography, and family, and what it means to be autistic. Maybe I’ll throw in a little bit for my fellow Bloomingtonians as well. I’d like to be like a chef as a writer – mixing in different ingredients whenever possible, giving a little pinch here and there of as wide a variety as I can.
Welcome 2018. One day down, three hundred sixty-four to go.
